Authorised Agency Application

Simplifying the application process for Agencies

The EDF Energy Trust is continually looking for ways to help reduce the burden on advice agencies when completing application forms on behalf of their clients.

Agencies have commented that it can be very time-consuming having to collate the income proof required to support the finance pages of the EDF Energy Trust application form. This has been a particularly significant issue in relation to applicants on benefits.

The EDF Energy Trust has now set up a 'fast track' service for authorised money advice agencies. A special form is available on request to set up this arrangement. This will allow your organisation to submit applications to the Trust without having to send in documentary evidence of your client's income proof, provided they are in receipt of one or more of certain benefits.

To qualify, your agency must be able to demonstrate a high quality standard in advice (for example the LSC generalist or specialist money advice Quality Mark).

If you feel you are able to meet these standards, please sign up to become an EDF Energy Trust 'Authorised Money Advice Agency'.

If your agency does not qualify to become an authorised agency, you are still able to submit applications on behalf of your clients, but we will require proof of income with the application form.
