This section gives information and guidance to advice agencies to help them assist their clients as quickly and effectively as possible in relation to fuel debts and applying to the Trust
Changes to the Authorised Agency Scheme
The Authorised Agency scheme has been reviewed by Trustees and at present we are not accepting new applications.
Existing Authorised Agencies
The Trust will only accept applications via the Authorised Agency Scheme from one named adviser with experience in debt advice or welfare benefits. Only this named individual will be able to submit applications to the EDF Energy Trust without having to send in documentary evidence of their client's income, providing they have seen up to date evidence of income and the client is in receipt of one or more of the following benefits:
Working Tax Credit with income of less than £16,190 and which must include a
- disability element
- Income Support
- Earning Support Allowance (Income Related)
- Council Tax Benefit
- Housing Benefit
- Local Housing Allowance
- Jobseeker's allowance (Income Based)
- Pension Credit
