2010 Small Grants Programme
In January 2010 Trustees launched a Small Grants Programme offering one-off grants to charitable organisations for small capital items/activities to assist in the provision of 'energy debt' advice and submission of online applications to the EDF Energy Trust. Grants were available up to a maximum value of £3,000.
Items that the Trust considered as eligible expenditure included:
- Computers / laptops
- Scanners to scan documents for attachment to emailed applications to the EDF Energy Trust
- Printers
- Software to enable agencies to enhance their current services
- Self help materials on debt prevention / resolution for clients
- Money advice training course fees
- Development of energy debt prevention literature in community languages
