Grants to Organisations

The EDF Energy Trust provides grants to organisations to provide money and debt prevention advice and education, with a particular emphasis on fuel poverty.

In July the Trust invited a number of organisations from areas known to have high levels of fuel debt in Southern England to apply for funding, these organisations were able to show strong partnership working. The organisations had to complete a detailed application and present to an interview panel following assessment of their application.

Both successful and unsuccessful applicants have been notified of the outcome of their application and we are pleased to announce that funding for a one year project has been awarded to London based organisations Toynbee Hall and Nucleus Advice Centre. Their projects will commence on 1 October 2011. Contact details will be provided on this site as soon as they are available.

There are currently no plans for further funding opportunities in 2011 however please be sure to check this website regularly for news of future funding rounds.
